Although the evidence regarding screening for cognitive impairment in asymptomatic
older adults is insufficient [
[1]
], such screening might be helpful for decision-making among older adults with specific
comorbidities, such as cancer [
[2]
]. However, most cognitive screening tools need to be administered in person by a
healthcare professional, which may make them difficult to implement widely in developing
regions of the world with limited access to personnel with geriatric training or expertise.
Therefore, we sought a method to administer cognitive screening to older patients
with cancer that did not add burden to staff, and which could be completed using digital
